A Little Help With Api Test Kit

i want to detrmine the ph of my tank and the water from the tap

the kit contains 2 ph liquids high ph and ph test and im slightly confused of what i should use

use the low range and if the colour doesnt match anythink then try the high range

the high range came out at 7.4

low range 7.6

this is the reading from my tank the water has been sitting for 6 days with 1 25% waterchange

slit it between the 2 then and say ur ph is 7.5 quite a nice ph for a good range of fish
