USA,
I know there is an invertibrate section, but I though I would get answers here quicker.

My brother wants to get a fidler or some sort like crab. He would like to put it in his tank. Would it be okay with fish? I know some of those kind of things arent.

and if yes, best with tropicals, or goldfish?

-55 gallon-
2 gouramis
4 Kribs
6 black skirts
1 pleco
1 whiptail catfish
1 Mystus bimaculatus
1 Rainbow Shark

Thanks

well those are sw, but I did find some red clawed crabs, which i think are the ones that the store sells anyways.

most crabs are oppertunistic (sorry about the spelling). If they get the chance to nip a fish they will. My friends crab killed about 5 of his fish and ate them and is still on a rampage now.

they will kill and eat small fish if they can get there hands on them they could even chop a fish in half :-(
