Just a few of my fishy friends. Apologies for the scratched and dirty glass

hey, some nice fish!
are they plecs in the slate cave? if so, what are they???
how big is your tire track? all the ones i've seen have a lot more dark patterning, do they loose it as they get bigger or is it just colour variation?

In the slate cave are 3 talking catfish - 2x spotted and 1 striped! They all squash in there happily, sometimes with a reedfish too.

The clarias is about 16" - he was given to us at about 6" because he had eaten a few fish (lol)

The tyre track I got today from BAS - he's about 10" he is darkening up now so I think the pale colouration is stress - he didn't acclimatise long as he let himself out of the bag - quite typical eel-ish behaviour. He seems quite settled now though, thoroughly exploring the tank.

Love the Clarius one of my favourite fish:)

one of mine as well until I kept a 18 inch one lol

Indijoi I love th tyre track. I have a tiny 6 inch ( ) my mate got me from BAS which I have no intention of keeping cos of my fire eel ut they are lovely and yours is abelter

He's from BAS too lol - they had a tankful in from about 6" to this guy who was about the biggest, he's a real character - bossing my senegal and lapradei around already.

Dave, they had peacock eels too, a new shipment of Oscars (- they were still in quarentine but I'm going back in a few days :)) some snakeheads (lipor maybe?) TO be honest I saw the eels and oscars and didn't really look at much else.

oh, not too keen on oscars and dont think my fire eel would take too kindly to a peacock eel lol, i actually got rid of my peacock eel to house the fire eel.
nevermind, i may just take a chance and go! if not to visit my home town and get a pie lol.

I'm probably going back at the end of the week to pick up an Oscar so I'll try and remember what else is new in. Are you looking for anything particular?

The snakeheads were labelled as lipor - about 3-4" and £15 each.

so lipor snakeheads, they are a dark and light brown mottles colour aren't they?
hmm i'll check em out if they are still there when i go, i'm intrested in getting a few more L numbers at the moment,

Dave
