139.2L (36.7 gallon) aquarium journal

Long time no see. I didn't post much because I am studying at TAFE. The cardinal tetras and pygmy corydoras are doing okay in the tank at the moment although they get skittish at sudden movement. I started noticing some planaria appearing in the tank (the same occasion happened in my silvertip tank a few months ago) in some numbers. I have been doing some water changes in the last couple of months. Are these planaria harmful to the inhabitants?

Planaria eat fish eggs but are normally harmless to fish.

The tetras and cories come from black water and it isn't bright. If you add some floating plants the fish will feel more comfortable and should be less skittish. However, skittish behaviour in fish can also be from poor water quality, or being kept in a quiet room where nobody goes.

I have some floaters in the tank.
