I finally uploaded some video from my HD camera and came across this video of my 8g nano scape from 2009. The video's from November, 2009, I believe. The journal is here. The actual tank was dismantled in March 2010.

There's more video, but I have to convert it to a smaller format. You can see my anchor cats, though, which I adored.

Thanks for looking...

loved the moss wall in there, nice, lush and green. Looks bigger than 8g. :good:

Yay, so glad you replied to this, Ian, the thread wasn't buried. Now I have the entire video.

Some of my best scapes have come from that little tank. Definitely will not get rid of it. :D

thanks, ive just added those anchor cats to the 'fish i will have one day' list.

Oh, the dwarf anchors were too cute. Do best with sand, though. Actually liked to bury themselves partway and rest, kind of like a ray. They loved the hydrocotyle and would rest on the leaves. I'd keep them again, if I had the opportunity.

look similar to my banjo's, but sort of...stunted

agree, they look like great little fish!

just remind me llj, was there any C02 running on this tank?

Yep, 2 nutrafin canisters with (1/2cup sugar, 1/2 tsp yeast) changed alternate days. Rhinox 1000 diffusor. Dropchecker apple green. Around the time the video was taken, tank was guzzling about 8ml a day of TPN+. Waterchanges, I think were weekly, 50% at that time.
