80L Tank - Not Many Fish, Any Ideas?

Ah thanks for telling me! I have two small holes for leads etc at the back of the lid so will definately cover them with card or something straight away! Chances are i'll heard headbutting of the lid every now and then, then? lol.

haha you might do they shouldnt jump unless they gett spooked or they might do a little for food

Will definately up the glowlights to 6 in a few weeks time, as said not sure where to to afterwards.

up to you really now the tank muture anythink. i would get the corys before the apisto or if you do it the other way round the apisto will think the terrotories is theres so they will be alot more argessive to the corys in there teretory.

By the way, the filters are both running now as said, i've looked into it and the Fluval 1+ does 50gallon/150litre per hour, not sure what my internal Juwel filter does... but does it matter that one pump is huge and the other relatively smaller?

50lph isnt that much but it will be fine with the other filters. overall i normally try for a 10X turn over

I'm going to also be taking the top sponge out of juwel and replacing tommorow as it's pretty brown!

dont replace it or it will get rid of all the bacteria that gets rid of ammonia. just squeeze it a few times in some tank water or declorined water.

Okidoke, all sounds good!

I've looked around and seems the pump within my filter does 400L P/H so with the other little filter that's a 600L p/h turnaround (The smaller one does 200L p/h not 150 as thought).

That's a pretty good turnaround for 80L I hope?

The tank is very mature, over a year.

thats a fairly good turn over should be fine to stock fully but just be carefull not to over stock. the stocking i gave at the start would be fine with that amount of filteration
