80gal 1 month in!

So It's been a month since I first got my south american cichlids and well... Couldn't of gone any better! One of my gold severums is growing at an alarming rate! (not complaining in the slightest haha) the other at a more slower pace. The two threadfins are doing fantastic! They have beautiful colours and are growing steadily. Bolivian rams

Did not mean to press enter, the bolivian rams are doing great showing nice colours and are extremely friendly and fearless (turning into the second bosses of the tank) and I recently added a large possible hybrid synodontis who is also doing fantastic along with 6 new rosy tetras!

All in all it's been a success and I couldn't of done it without the help of everyone so thank you!

Beautiful ram! Interesting coloration on that one. I’ve never seen one with red on the tips of the fins. ?

Thank you! He's like the little boss of the tank (apart from my male severum) neither had I until I got him

Its the Bolivians that get the reds on the fins. The Blues are a flashier fish but Bolivians mature into a really stunning fish in enough time. They are a gregarious cichlid though so I would recommend keeping them as a small group of 4-6

They are adorable haha, I wish I could've afforded more at the time and is it bad I prefer Bolivian rams to blue rams haha
