that's to small, you need 60cm, but i have bought from 'aquariumHK' before and they are really good. They just take a while to get to you.

Substrates looking good mike. Marvellous what you can conjure up when you put your mind to it. Will look great with crisp green plants in it.

and ian thanks for finding that for me i think i might get one =D. although the P&P is £23... so it will total £40 anyway.... um

i'll have a look at some more =D might pop down to a car boot and have a look there

what about this one its a little more than the one you posted but its got LED's as well as another bulb

im still looking at light units.

here is a pic of the tank in place

and this is an idea for a scape... half done i was thinking of the Plato from the lion king. or something like that... maybe a hc carpet stretching into a hairgrass carpet. (i know there demanding plants)

i also think i need to go out and find some wood =D

Good Start with the Scape Mike. Nice Banking going on there. Where did you get your JI No3 from by the way?

Is it just the No3 In the tank in this picture or have you capped it yet? Looks like soil only. Just saying if you have capped it, may need a little more soil on the right hand side? Maybe Wrong though pal

its NO3 mixed with cat litter. im going to cap it with sand, i dont have any more rocks / wood which look nice, so i might have to pop out and find some soonish (its my birthday Friday so you never know)

Ahh Execellent, Can't Wait to see it filled mate. Looks a good lay out as it is, Maybe a small "branch" like piece runngin from back right to middle front covered with your weeping moss mate

i was thinking that iv changed the angle of the rock a little now... i'll go wood hunting with a saw sooner or later ;p

im abit worryed that the JI will rise up in the sand and make it all black... will have to wait and see...

You should be ok providing your sand is thicker than 1cm. Nice start, looking forward to seeing some plants in there, you hoping for some tank goodies Friday? Mine on Thursday so fingers crossed lol
