RIP Vinny

somethings very violent in my tank....

and i dont know who is the culprit :(

its like a murder mystery :(

yeah the salvini,

its deffo not the flowerhorn, its the most shy placid fish ive got!!! plus the murder tried to off him aswell, hes still got a nasty gash on his side thats turning white and seems to be getting bigger!! im worried hes gonna end up dead n all.

as for the pike....maybe....but hes really placid doesnt do much at all....

sushi is too gormless to even bother beating another fish up

ive got a feeling its the Green Terror or the Severums they are all Evil. plus the green terrors fins are growing and hes turning into a man.

also is it possible to change too much water?

since the flowerhorn got injured i been doin 50% waterchanges daily

but the water is begining to go cloudy...like underwater mist and the more i change the worse it seems to get!!

solution pls :P

Sorry for your lose! :rip:

Your going to have to start watching the tank more. Any signs of aggression then you have you need to take action. One time in particular to watch out during is when you first turn off the lights.

my moneys on the big guy!! jambo went nasty overnight, but not when i was watching of course

sorry for your loss peter :(

shelagh xxxx

Maybe the clouding up is a bacterial bloom, which with all the water changes, could be taking longer to finish. I think 50% daily is a little much, I know your trying to heal the FH but maybe drop it 50% ever 2/3 days. Also try putting some clean filter floss in the filter.

You know just cause a fish looks peaceful and harmless during daylight hours, doesnt mean they dont turn when the lights go out.

Its either the pike, GT or Sushi. Anyway sorry for your loss.

I've got a cobra pike which is now in soitary confinement as he is one of the most ruthless fish I have ever had. Is it not ossible its the pike?

Problem Solved..

i think the green terror killed my salvini.... :( so maybe need to rehome him

i think the flowerhorn....has actually burnt itself on the heater... its hole is huge now in its side....not terribly deep but enough to make me a little worried...hes off his food too..

im treating him with a cocktail of meds...but dont know if i should be euthanising really :(

So sorry you're having trouble...although I can't be of much help. I get cloudy water if I do a large change in one of my tanks. I think it's a bacterial bloom...
