How To Feed My Fish While On Holiday For Two Weeks?!

Ok thanks... The automated feeders are probably more expensive that it would be for me to drive back here and feed them myself! Thanks so much for the help, as always

How To Feed My Fish While On Holiday For Two Weeks?!

I have got a hygrophila corymbosa, java moss and an amazon sword. And you reckon that the fish will be ok without food for that amount of time?

How To Feed My Fish While On Holiday For Two Weeks?!

Hi all! I'm off to the parent's for Christmas so need to somehow feed my 6 endlers and 4 guppies (and zebra snail). Unfortunately no one is around to come in and feed them, like neighbours or friends so I was hoping someone might be able to recommend a good 'slow release feeder'. I've not heard...

    Fat Guppy?!

Thanks for the replies. It's interesting because the others aren't like that so I think he's munching a lot of the food. Diet it is then. Also, thanks for the tip on soaking the bloodworm slimenemo and wilder... I didn't know that! I can feed them more veg than flake if that's better for them...

    Fat Guppy?!

This is Brian two weeks ago... And this is him now. I think he looks slightly rotund!! We feed them once a day (feed them twice maybe once a week). We have six endlers and four guppies and would feed them 5-6 large flake a day. Then twice a week the tank gets a chopped up pea and once a week...

Thanks - his tail is amazing. The endlers colours have really come out since I put them in the tank and its great to see! Feeding them a pea 2 times every week and they go mad for them! So funny!

    Hello I'm New

Hi manicfish, Welcome to the forum! Before you get fish, it would be worth setting aside an hour or so to read the information in the beginners resource centre. I've recently got back into fish keeping and so I've done cycling both ways and I can say that the fishless cycling method is by far...

    Fish Wars

Hey fighter dory! When we say 'cycle' we mean building up bacteria colonies in the filter. There is 'fish in' cycling and 'fishless' cycling. Both are explained really well in the beginners resource centre in your new freshwater tank discussion. That is where I have gotten loads of good advice...

    My New 15g Aquarium!

Hi!! This is the tank! Almost fully stocked I think but may get a couple more endlers or one more guppy and some shrimp later in the year! At the moment we have: 4 male guppies, 6 male endlers and one zebra snail This is Gary the guppy - he's very fond of Fred so they are often together...

    Starting A New Tanks Tomorrow

Hi! Just wanted to second what fluttermoth has said because she has given me so much advice over the last couple of months! I set my tank up in the middle of August and it only completed cycling last week. In order to know that your tank is cycled, you need reading of 0ppm of nitrite and...

    Dying Guppy

The others are absolutely fine. Because of the water parameters p@h gave us a refund. They got the ph as 7.0 which is closer to what I thought it would be. Likely to be a poorly fish from the start then? And yes, male only tank so that we don't have to kill the fry! Tank isn't big enough for...
