Many years ago I had a 20 gallon with 2 Albino Clawed and 2 African Clawed. It was a lightly planted tank with 5 or 6 plants. They like to hide a lot. It also had gravel and I feed them Frozen Bloodworms. They were there from like 4 years till the African clawed Frogs ate the Albino Clawed...

Fish: 10 Sterbai cories 4 2" Firemouth Chiclids 2 Synodontis Catfish

How many can I put in a tank 65 gallons US with 10 Sterbais and 2 Synodontis? I have a Canister Filter, planted heavily and water changes of 40% once a week. I was thinking 4?
1. I want to keep it at 84f but for some reason I think something is wrong with the heater because it was not going above 76 with the heater turned up this week. Red button went on then a minute later turns off.
2. Asked about black water extract on the forum, but people said it was worthless...
