Zebra Danio Question

I was just wondering if anyone has a zebra danio or have seen one in real life that has gotten to be 6 inches. Personally I have never seen any that are over 3 inches but most books say they can achieve 6 inches at full growth.

hmmm, my books say 2 inches, as do both my lfs.

Are you sure you aren't thinking of the giant danio? I think they grow to about 6". Like Chris said, most grow to about 2"

I just can't see a zebra danio reaching 6 inches, I think you're looking at the gaint danio which does indeed get to 6 inches.

hmm thats weird I work at a lfs and we sell both the giant danios and zebra danios, both tags have the max size of 6" and as well as some books at work that I read.

I'd say that's wrong. Don't trust the tags. Walmart had iridescent sharks down as 8", and that's nowhere near their max length.

I'd say that's only true for giant danios. The max size for mine is around 2-3", and they're pretty old, I think.
