Right this should be interesting.
If you could only keep 10 species of freshwater fish for the rest of your life what would they be and why?
You can have as many tanks as you like and they can be any size but you can only choose 10 fish species including regional varients and sub species.
Mine would be
Sorubim lima, my first large predatory catfish, i'd love to captive breed these
Meredontotus tigrinus, the ultimate Pimeloid catfish
Scleropages formosus golden redtail, rarest most sought after Arowana
Cichla ocellaris, the daddy of South American Cichlids
Psuedopimelodus fowleri, the ultimate ambush predator
Potamotrygon motoro, first ray i kept and a species i'll always cherish
Potamotrygon leopoldi, because i'd love one of these but cant afford their £300+ price tag
Hoplias malabaricus, just look at those teeth!
Belonophago tinanti, a species that has always interested me but i've never seen in the flesh
Hepsetus odoe, because just once i'd like to keep one of these alive
