My Red Tailed Black Shark.

Been with me for 5 years and have watched it grow from about 3cm to 12.5cm.

Lovely fish and does not display the aggresion that RTBSs are known for.

lol one of my silver sharks is called sharkie!

um... my most prized fish was Peter the goldfish who I had since I was 2years old and died last July. Now... I think my most prized is either Lucky the goldfish, or Philip (collomesus puffer) or Spud (suvatti puffer), or coolio my whiptail.

I have 5 tanks and one fish, Gosh I sure love that kuhli loach, I need to get him some friends fast, I didn't even realise I still had him untill I gave the last of my other fish to fishyJessie

I had a dragon goby that I loved to pieces, it was one of my first fish, I was extremely upset when it died. I guess out of the ones I have at the moment my white cheek moray, it was very thin when I got it, and I hand fed it for ages till it got fat and large, it's quite gorgeous, very pretty, a bit of a babe, etc. I really am quite fond of it.

I have a few for the following reasons:

Fish I have had the longest Synodontis oscellifer

Most colourful Aphyosemion marmoratum

Most show success Synodontis angelicus

Unusual oddballs Eleotris Vittata or Microphis brachyurus aculeatus. Not sure which one to pick?

When you have a few tanks it is an impossible question.

My favourite fish is probably either my Synodontis Angelicus catfish, or my new Lima Shovelnose catfish.

I have so many fish though i love different ones for different reasons.

For example i have a Red Throat Goby in my 15G tank that has so much character! He comes to check me out and when I approach the tank he shakes his head from side to side and comes right up to the glass!

Also my Black Ghost Knife is very cool, seems to love exploring the tank day and night.

And last but not least my plecs have to get a mention, currently my favourites are my L128 and L200 (Blue and Green Phantom plecs).

I totally agree!
I too have so many fish to choose from thats why I had to list a few instead of only one.

I must say i am tempted and have been for some time to get a black ghost knife fish. Eventhough they do get so big.

I know what you mean ive got so many uncommon fish that it is very difficult to choose just one, but the two i picked are just a little bit more special than the others for their own reasons.

I Honestly have to say My

Gold White mountain Cloud Minnows, With Blue Saphire Eyes. They are The Most Richely Colored Gold in a Fish I have Ever Seen and the Contrast with the Saphire Eyes are Amazing. Been Bugging My LFS to get some for ages.

CFC - I have seen the ageneiosus marmoratus before but only once. I think it was at wharf aquatics (but dont quote me on the location).

As for the shovel nose catfish- I am not a big fan. Still if we all had the same it would be boring eh.
Dont you find it great having a good variety of fish, I do.
