Oh, I'm not buying it from there. I just thought the price was outrageous.


I bought about $10 worth of javamoss and have filled up about 4 10g tanks.

Give my tank a month and I'll send ya some.

I chuck a good amount every month cause it gets to be too much for what I want in my tank.

I jsut threw out a good ziplock bag full two days ago.

The most expensive i see it is about $30 CDN... but that is when it is growing on a log.

FYI gold is MUCH higer then that, thats closer to silver, but still to low for that.

I would take a guess and say JeremyD was probably exaggerating when he said Java moss was green gold

I think gold retails at about £10 a gram (about 18 US dollars). Not sure about silver though.

I would like some java moss, I've heard it attaches quite well to things like bogwood which I have a small piece of in my tank, it would be nice to have a carpeting plant.
