Would This Be Ok?

Unfortunatly my girlfriends Betta died a couple of days ago.

He was in a small Hex tank that has been emptied, washed an set up again.

With the filter i washed the media out with some water in my 5ft tank. Is this ok? I also filled the tank with this water.

As some of you know, these women are very impatient beings and she wants a new fish immediatly

Yes, it should be fine if the filter did not come into contact with chlorinated/chloraminated water.. although the filter bacteria will die quickly unless you provide a source of ammonia in the form of a fish or pure ammonia.

haha, um yeah, well i've worked in the security industry for most of my working life, which isnt long, and you guessed it, I work with men mostly and I like it that way, some women...and i say some, can be whiny bits of flesh and bone, you just gotta tell them straight...... 'shut it'.
