Is there a species of angelfish that just stays small? I would still love to have them, but I know now they wouldn't be happy in my tank.

That's a bit of an exaggerated metaphor, don't you think? A dog in a cupboard is to a fish in a small drinking glass, which is a lot smaller than a 65 gallon tank.
