as some of you know i'm slowly setting up my 215l tank and well basically could i keep my two bamboo shrimp with four pictus catfish? i think they would be ok whilst the catfish are only small but i worry when the cats start getting larger.

Pictus are predatory but if the bamboo shrimps are large enough I dont see a problem, though when they shed they might become a bit of a target. Though actually Im not sure if they do shed? Do all shrimp shed?

How many tanks do you have btw? I remember you setting up a tank for dwarf pikes but do you have a few now cos you mention a lot of awesome fish and would love to see them.

Not sure how big bamboo shrimp are exactly, but I had a small pictus and I had to rehome it because it would kill but not eat the guppies I had for it, and it beat up and chased my bristlenose who was only maybe an inch smaller than it. From what I've seen nothing is really safe from these guys if they want it or think it can fit in their mouths.

ahh well wills this is still that tank! but i'm starting cycling tomorrow which can't come soon enough. did you get any dwarf pike as i think you were interested in them also. i currently have three tanks in my room my 20gal 100gal and empty 50gal. i will tranfers the fish from the 20 to 50.
