Wooden Tube

Hi, i was thinking of using a wooden Tube for my fish tank, it was really ment for a hamster but looks quite nice, it's been washed with boiling hot water twice and just need to know if the wood would harm the fish?.....thanx for your help!!!

don't use it. these types of wood tubes have had anti fungicidals sprayed on them, who knows what chemical they used, but please don't put it in any tank with aquatic life in it.

I would suggest that you put it in a rain butt and after 6 months or so it maybe ok to use.
