im trying to get hold of the 'none plant eating' variety of apple snails, yet here in belgium everyone i buy eats my plants so gets evicted to my bettas tank.

i have seen a seller on ebay selling young ones cheap enough but although they agree they will post here (airmail is normal 2-3 days to get here tops) they are worried they may not survive the trip?
is three days too long? do they require a heat pack? anything else i can try to get for the seller to help the journey?

They should be fine for 3 days if they are packed properly.
Don't feed them the day before they are sent.
Put them in clean tank water when packing them.
Depending on what the temperature is at the supplier and at your place will determine whether you need a heat pack.
Once they are packed in 1/4 water and 3/4 air, the bag gets sealed up and put in another bag that is sealed up too. The bag is put into an esky or other insulated box. The heat pack is added if necessary. And the box is sealed up and sent on its way.
