Will It Poison My Fish

I have repaired my brace bar on my tank using a piece of plastic and 2 nut and bolts. It's not in the water but condensation builds up on the nut and bolts and then drips in the water, does any one know if it will poison my fish?

Maybe if they rust... Or are treated with something.

Edit: Could you not use silicone?

is it salt water?

fresh water is not so bad but it rill rust and and then that will drop into the water. not the best of things to be honest.

should be okay, but expanding on Geoff's reply, how about covering them with a material like a plastic bag, or silicone etc ?

I will seal it with aquatic silicone. Good thinking.
