Wilder Can You Help Again.... Or Anyone Else Of Course

i noticed 1 of the corys flicking again last night..... not constantly but just 3/4 times. ive not done a water change for a week ( its due today ). ive not had chance to buy a new dechlor yet so may put the change off until i get some, should be next day or two....

also i know alot of people on here use pond dechlor as it lasts much longer and apparently does the same job. ive seen some kusuri pond dechlor thats quite a good deal but not sure if its any good  or should i stick to aquarium dechlor?

I've used pond declorinator in the past when I had more than one tank.
I had no problems when using pond declorinator. Its alot cheaper aswell.

still not done a water change yet as ive not time to go buy a different dechlor...... water stats are very good still though!
and just seen a cory flick  its been 10 days since last change, would the dechlor still affect the fish after 10 days do you think?

You might have to remove aloe vera with water changes. But not sure as not used declorinator with the aloe vera in it.
I would maybe pm rabbut and ask.

just been to lfs and bought some aqua safe. so will try it and see what happens!!!!!!!!!

Ok.
Let me know how the fish get on.
Good Luck.

doing waterchange in the morning but just saw 1 of the loaches flick a couple of times  i removed some plastic grass from the substrate last nightand it stirred up a bit of a mess.... i am now thinking it could be flukes or internal again..............
ill do water change in the morning and see what goes on but im gutted now as i thought we had found the answer.....

I would do the water change and go from there.

I would do the water change and go from there.
i did about a 15/20% change today and no flicking yet...........
i only did this amount because i have angel eggs all over my heater and didnt want to expose them

Ok.
Do another water change tomorrow.
Good luck with the eggs.

ok, last night i had really slow flow from 1 of my filters and after squeezing the outlet pipes loads of white gunk came out into the tank...... so as i was taking water out my wife was getting new water to put straight back in so as not to uncover the angel eggs and in the end we must have done about a 40% water change with the aquasafe.
anyway i have just seen 1 gold stripe cory flicking for about a minute then stop
all 4 are eating and doing their thing but this 1 cory is still flicking, i havnt seen any others do it or any other fish.
1 platy is hiding in the corner but i think its pregnant
this is driving me nuts now...............
i have really fine substrate in the tank called zambezi which is a mixture of really small gravel and sand, i thought it could be some of this stuck in the gills but surely it would effect all the corys not just 1........

I would do a few more water changes and if there still flicking get back to the board.
