why did i choose annoying fish lol after arranging my tank my jag decides he wants all gravel against the front the pot upside down and wood moved around i wish he would leave it looking nice.
but it is cool to watch

Might be fun to do next time. You may also find a pattern - if you redo the tank a few times, it would be interesting to see if he has a certain "way" he likes the tank. you could compare the "after" photos to find a trend.

ive just done a 60% water change so il tank a photo and il tank another in a few days and show the differnce ive taken the pots and small pebbles out as they were getting buried and put all over the place

This is unfortunately the price you pay for keeping big cichlids... Alot of my smaller ones do it too with the sand and plants. Not the rocks though.

LOL, I have the same problem with my pink convicts. They change the appearance of the substrate on a daily basis (I have sand and gravel), the sand never looks the same as the dunes are constantly changing shape whenever they shift the sand about and pile it up here and there...same as with the gravel. They dig massive pits and one time piled the gravel up so high it reached up to the filter, so I had to shift it all back in place and they kept doing it for a few days.

They also move plants around to suit themselves...oh and one pair even managed to turn their coconut shell right around so that the opening was facing towards the back of the tank instead of how I put it facing the front. Tsk, talk about fussy fish eh? They do love their privacy LOL.

fluttermouth never thought ov it that way lol but i supose i would be pretty pissed off to lol
just wished they wouldnt move all the gravel to tthe front i end up with around 7/8 inchs being stacked up blocking my view i think theyre gambling in there and dont want me to catch them lol
