The boy in my avatar started out as a very light pastel that appeared white under regular lighting, but as he got older, he developed the red wash which then started to darken. It's now spread so far that almost the entirety of his fins are maroon, and you'd never know he'd ever been a solid color to look at him. And I don't know why, exactly, but I love love love cambodian females, way more than I love cambodian males. I also had a pretty little cellophane female years back. My mother hates them because she thinks it's gross you can sort of see through them. I'm still a little disappointed I didn't snatch up the cellophane half moon male I had my eye on a couple of weeks ago when I had the chance.

Got my new girl yeaterday....HM white betta

Her colour isn't at its best but once she has settled in I'll get a better one. I had another girl like her but she has changed to a weird colour

Thanks for your compliment.....my 2nd one kinda looks dirty until you get close up. Might have to get the bleach out
