Hi all!

I have 6 Red Hook Silver Dollars, currently residing in a 75 gallon (283 liter) tank, dimensions 18" X 18" X 48" ( 46cm X 46cm X 122cm). I just got the new 55 gallon (208 liter) dimensions 22" X 12" X48" (55cm X 30cm X 122cm) cycled and I'm looking to give the Silver Dollars more room. They are currently sharing tank with 3 Aussie Rainbowfish and 6 Giant Danios plus smaller fish.

My thinking is this: Silver Dollars in the taller 55 gallon tank with a school of zebra Danios and a few serpae tetras. Anyone care to speculate on whether the Silvers would be happier with a taller or a deeper tank?

Thanks for any replies :D

Id leave them where they are,the only fish i can think of that prefer tanks with extra height are angels and discus, for most other fish a deeper tank is prefferable as it gives a wider surface area for gas exchanges.
