which is easier to take care of

is a freshwater morey eel easier to take care of or is a bichir eiser to take care of? thanks for the help

Unfortunately there is actually no such thing as a true FW morray eel, the snowflake morray (cant remember exact scientific name at this time in the morning ) is a marine fish that is sometimes found in brackish waters but many lfs sell them as FW to unsuspecting customers. Also they get to quite a large size (3ft+) so need larger tanks than the more commonly seen bichirs. Depending on the size of the tank i would go for 2 or 3 polypterus senegalus (senegal bichirs), they are the smallest of the bichir species and the easiest to care for IMO.

Hi, the snowflake eel is called Gymnothorax tile or Gymnothorax polyuranodon. I just bought a snowflake eel and have been doing some research.
