Which Fish To You Enjoying Breeding Most?

Having set my breeding tank up, I had my first attempt at breeding some zebra danios... using a breeding net that didnt allow them to get to their eggs, I lieft them in there for just about 20 minutes and already have hundreds of tiny eggs! exciting stuff... just wondered whats the fish that you have most enjoyed breeding and why??

Angel fish, they are my favourite fish, and i have a 800 litre tank setup for my angels, and a 250 litre for breeding, my community tank is 1200 litres, but i love breeding angels.

for me it has to be channa,all i can vouch for is ornatipinnis,but simonas and a couple of others have also bred channa, there parental skills from the word go is outstanding, 100% care throughout,you dont need to do a thing, except marvel at the ammount of care, you could have three or four different batches all toghther without a problem

the only ones i've had any luck with except live bearers are golden barbs, seeing the tiny eggs and watching them hatch was quite exciting!

Bettas!

I have been unsuccessful with breeding Danios and Tetras.

Breeding bettas is highly rewarding, as even the tiny fry have great perosnalities!

Mine would be Betta's, watching that teeny egg evolve & grow into a stunning long finned male is so rewarding.

I did really love breeding corydora too, just because they were so mental lol
