its got a really good areation, iv got this air tube that attaches to the filter nozzle and wen the filter squirts out water it comes out like out of an airstone! well cool IMO.
the danios love cruising in the bubble flow!

so im thinking:

- 2 schwartz corys - 4 inches (u can keep in pairs right?)#
- 4 head and tail lights - 6 inches
- 1 honey gourami - 1.5 unches

Yes, Cories are ok to start in a small group (a pair), but only if you promise to build them to at least 5 and better 6. You will not see their full personality and boldness with less. They will be shy. I would still be careful adding so many at one time.

ok jollysue, i promise to build them up, (how about 3?)
then i will have:

- 3 schwartz corys = 6 inches
- 4 head n tail light tetras - 6 inches
- 1 honey gourami - 1.5 inches
- total= 8 fish - 13.5 inches (does anybody think this is overstocked for a 6UK gallon)
in my eyes its overstocked badly but ill trust u sue!

I would start with the 2, maybe 3, cories and the honey. Gouramies gulp air also. Wait at least a month and add the four small Tetras. Although I would probably try for 6 green neons if available. They are maybe a half inch full grown and very colorful.

btw, what filteration, water temprature, live plants, substrate will you have?

And what is the surface area of the tank? (whats the Length and Width in inches)

i voted for barbs as im getting more into the hobby and find myself wanting away from mollies and purchased tigers recently

I like rainbows loaches (botia and khuli) and cats...damn it! I like all fish but got have not got enough money or indeed tanks and space for them all :/

right, ok the set-up..lol

at the mo, its got two terracotta pots (1big,1small) at the back of tank on top on two rocks, then i have other pebbles dotted around the tank on top of the gravel to give like a river effect as my filter flows like a river/stream... its got this really nice MARINA fake bunch of plants (its quite big, with lots of different fake plants all on one base)...then iv got 2 real plants.

will the corys go in the pots?
the surface area is 9.9inches Qays
im thinking that stocking with the corys will be to much? :/

Thanks, tetra-man2 :good: :p

Cories like caves and things they can swim through and under and peer out of. They actually are rather curious creatures and playful. They are a river cat so they would love the flow.

i meant, what are the dimentions, length and width

oooo, lol

33cm X 30cm X 37cm (dont know in inches) + (they might be a cm out or two as i looked for the dimensions on ebay, i threw the box away!...i think!)

its really cool with all the bubbles, but the plant blocks some of it out so it doesnt blow there heads off!
apparently plants like a flow on them, it keeps them healthy!
