when livebearers mate

Hey gup gup I think you need a attitude adjustment
You should be glad anyone answered you

What is your problem anyways??
You know if you ask nicely you will get answers better then if you come in doing that... you should tell them your sorry Even if you weren't yelling when someone ask you nicely to stop using caps you should... and also stop being so sarcastic.. you wouldn't like if someone did that to you. if your going to do that to other people don't expect people to answer your questions.. If you were playing around I and i'm sure everyone else didn't think its was very Funny

Be a little nicer please :D :)

sorry if i t looked liked i shouted but i didnt mean to affend any one so i am sorry

hi, some livebearrers do not get gravid spots. looking for a gravid spot is not a valid indication on a fish pregnancy. i know this first hand as my platy never did get a gravid spot while she was pregnant. she looked the same after she had her fry as she did the day before.

Seeing a gravid spot on a guppy is far easier than seeing it on a platy or molly because they have solid colouring over their body, but they still have gravid spots(where the fry are held inside). Since i only own guppies for livebearers, I'm not to knowlegdeable about noticing the other gravid spots.

hi, the platy in question is solid orange with the exception of her fins so where the gravid spot is suppose to be should be fairly easy to see but it never came. also she is pail enough that i can see through her and look at her innards. but a gravid spot never came..

lol....i used to use all caps all the time......then sumone yelled at me an i stoped.....anyways the gravid spot is just undeveloped babys from the last litter, in a while she will have them and then once again the gravid spot will still b there, u c livebearer females are constantly prego so they have a constant gravid spot esspecially if they are in a tank of males.

for ur nitrates and amonia and stuff u can buy chems to make that all better, test ur tap water, if it is high in nitrates think about treating it b4 u put it in the tank of fish wen doing water changes.
