High light demanding, fast growing plants often benefit from added CO2. If you have plants like that, and your light is high enough, and they are not growing well, it may be time to consider CO2.
If your light is not up to the required level, adding CO2 helps a little, but frankly, the effort would be better spent getting your light up.
