i like betta a lot but personally i love otos.

im currently shrimp mad though but otos are my running fav =]

I love jewels...unfortunately, it is very difficult to keep more than one in a tank lol

I'm not sure that I truly have a favorite. I love different aspects about a bunch of fish.


I love the outgoing nature of livebearers and the finnage of male guppies. I like the look of bettas, but prefer the activity of the guppies more.
I love the shoaling (almost true schooling) of my neons.
I love the way my cories shuffle around in the sand.
I love the way my BN moves around my tank constantly from algae patch to algae path.
I love the way my dwarf gourami swims back and forth in the front of my tank showing off for visitors.
I love the fact that my harlequin rasboras fill the mid-top 1/3 of my tank with activity.


I would love to get some apistos or rams in the future.
There is almost something that I love about all the fish I see at the LFS. Fortunately for now, my wife is keeping my MTS at bey. I have the urges, but I can't actually display the symptoms.

I have a 40g tank dedicated to sword and platys I really do love them.

I had them all through my youth, I decided to go in another direction with my new tank. Trying new species and finding I really like them all! My newest additions (BN plec and dwarf gourami) are fish I never could convince my dad to get as a child. Now they are my favorites... at least for the time being.

That is why I went to cichlids lol. Wanted a change, but I couldnt give up the livebearers. Their fry are soooo cute!
