What's Your Favourite Fish?

I have 4 Clown Loach and a Red Tailed Shark that will be moving into a 75 uk gal tank. I would like to add a school of green tiger barbs... not sure what else though.. not really in any rush so will keep looking.
I just can't make my mind up, i like Rummy Nose Tetras, Galaxy Rasboras, Black ghost knife fish and Sailfin pleco at the mo, probably change my mind tomorrow though

It's way too hard to choose just one but as for my top 5...

Serrasalmus rhombeus

Serrasalmus irritans

Serrasalmus elongatus

Melanochromis chipokae

Amphilophus labiatus

The most beautiful freshwater fish, imo, is a Pseudotropheus demasoni. I've never had one yet but plan on it soon.

I think peacock African cichlids are stunning. This is depending on whether or not my opinion is limited to just freshwater. :good:

How big is your tank,, for a Iridescent Shark Catfish (Pangasius catfish) you would need a huge tank, they get over 3 feet long. They need to be kept in numbers as well, they don't thrive as well if kept singly.. ;)

Hi

Only been doing this for 18 months and so many to choose from but from my own tanks it would have to be my Suckermouth Cat 'The Sloth' - looks just awesome with his fins up!!

Looking forward to getting a zebra pleco sometime soon!

Cheers

It's a good job this topic keeps coming up every so often, so I can change my mind.
The two groups I'm most interested in are livebearers and loricariids.
High on the wishlist are ataeniobus toweri (livebearers) and a leopard frog plec or a sturisoma (loricariids)- though I'd need a new tank to house the sturisoma, as I don't suppose it would really enjoy sharing its meals with 20-odd greedy bristlenoses. And I'd like to get some really tiny livebearers, heterandrias or even neoheterandria elegans.
Of the fish I have, my phallichthys tico are certainly the prettiest, but I do like the bristlenoses.

I have a few favorite fish, my overall favorite fish is probably the clown loach-I'm amazed at how they act together and they are just a georgious fish. I think my 2nd favorite all time fish would have to be large sailfin mollies--nothing like seeing a handsome large male strut his stuff and flare up, to me there is nothing like it. And since I have 4 of them the betta would be in the top 3, they are easy to keep, fun to watch and quite pretty. Besides my top 3 I like the looks of the oscar, never have one personally cause if I had a large enough tank to keep one I'd rather have fish that got along. I like most other fish quite well but the first 3 mentioned would be my favorittes.
