Whats This Fish

I have bought a mature tank from someone which was already stocked with fish. there are 2 fish in there which he said are corys, but i dont think they are. here is a photo of one. I think it might be a chiclid but not sure, if it is which type is it.

how can you tell and what maybe causing it? I'm new to this game and like i said have bought a mature setup. The 2 rams are fighting quite a bit, could this be teh reason for the stress?

They might be stressed from being transferred about

or more likely from the fighting. put each one in a bowl or container just for 5 minutes while you re-arrange the decor of the tank. then put the rams back in, and they might decide on new territories and keep themselves to themselves. only a slim chance though.

Also, they would be best kept on sand as they are earth eaters. The stress will be from being moved. If they're fighting then they are sorting out who is boss. Are they a pair?
