My first meal of the day is at noon drinking either a blueberry smoothie using kefir (liquid yogurt) or an avocado smoothie. I eat dinner at 5 pm and then fast until noon the next day. This has been my routine for many years.
I have been 50 kg for a lifetime but the third covid vaccine brought me inexplicable heart problems and I gained 10 kg and I had to go to nutritionists. Before I ate like a pig without any problems sigh. Nutritionists suggest doing the exact opposite, that is, having a light breakfast, a snack with yogurt, lunch with meat/fish and vegetables, a snack with fruit, dinner with pasta, but all with Mediterranean foods

I can make a reference to dogs even if they are warm-blooded. Dogs that do not work and live pampered, perhaps as only children in the house, are dogs that often make a fuss about food or on the contrary, think only about food. Dogs that work and in which part or all of the food ration is used in training are much healthier, more active and have a better relationship with food.
I remember an old dog of mine who was sick and in his last days, both because of the illness and the medicines, he no longer ate.
I took his ration and used it to do simple exercises and he ate everything. In the bowl or from the hands, no, working, yes

Regarding fish I obviously have no advice to give you but even with horses I have always thought that giving fixed times to an animal that eats all the time was wrong and led to problems including colic etc.
I think that simulating what happens in nature always helps
