What's The Status Of Wild Galaxy Rasboras Now?

I can only find articles from when they were first discovered back in 2006. Anyone have up to date info on their wild status now?
I've only seen them in one shop, they were £6 each (!!!) which I would presume meant they were wild caught? They had really sunken bellies too, looked very poorly (to my untrained eye) I would love some, but am a bit worried about the ethics :)
 
Don't know about the wild rasbora situation.
But if it's ethics...then perhaps find a private breeder with fry from tank bred fish?
 
Right, might think again about them then, unless I could find a breeder as you say curiosity101. Hopefully the captive breeding will take off and we can stop seeing wild caught examples.

i highly doubt that will happen, they will have been eradicated from the wild before breeders can do anything about it.
