What's in your tank with your angelfish

It'll be strips as the tests include chlorine but not ammonia :)
Got it....I can't stress enough for people to invest in the liquid test kits, the strips are known to be less accurate, especially if they are aged...but I suppose they're better than nothing

The real problem is the lack of ammonia. A rep from API once explained that they do make separate ammonia strips, but ammonia can't be included on the multi-test strips because it requires different timings.
It would be much better if multi-test strips were sold together in a pack with ammonia strips instead of selling them separately. API always sells GH and KH testers in the same pack so why can't they do the same with ammonia strips?

It makes absolutely no sense, I agree...did not know this, because I've never bought the strips

I'm quite ok with using the strips. I don't want to fiddle around with several bottles and things which is why I didn't get the master test kit. I can always get something that just tests for ammonia. This is a fresh set up with nothing organic in the tank yet so there's no ammonia in it.
