Are you still using Carbon and what the flow like?

And how much of everything are you dosing?

Also, TNC Complete definitely has copper listed on the analysis. Plants, like people, fish and shrimps need it.

yes i am still using the carbon and dosing each according to instructions on the bottles, i do allow a tad less to accomodate decor and the fact tank isnt full to brim, is this wrong?

i did wonder if flow was a issue, the tank has a internal filter with a spraybar that goes more than half the length of the tank, this gives quite abit of surface movement, some of the smaller lower plants sway so there is movement, but is it enough, do i need something else?

Don't worry about decor and volumes.
You may want to consider upping the dose of Complete - If you were to treble it you'd be at EI levels.
Another solid tip is to divide whatever you decide on in to a daily dose so you have a constant nutrient supply

For example if you were to double the bottle dose, you'd be at 60ml/week which you could split to 10ml or so per day....
