Hi
I currently have a QT tank set up with 6 otocinclus in it. They'll be in there for a couple of weeks before going into my main tank. I've been feeding them algae wafers plus a nice big algae covered sword leaf each day. I'd let the algae build up a bit deliberately in my main tank for the oto's. They didn't seem to bother with the wafers but clean the leaf at a surprising pace.
All good there.
Now, I'm starting to gradually move many assassin snails from my main tank into the QT tank before I sell them on. I reckon I'll end up with about 50 in the QT tank. My question is what should I feed the QT tank to satisfy the occupants? I have no pest snails to put in for the assassins. They have been cleaning up left over food in the main tank after wiping out the pest snails.
Let me know any ideas.
Cheers folks.
