I found 4 good size guppy fry swimming at the surface around plants. I have some small discus in the tank who did not seem to see or care about the fry. They were not in huge danger but I do want more guppies. So I just scooped them up and put them in a container with lots of moss. I will do wc after every feeding.

I just got these fish 5 days ago. So one female must have been holding I was suprised to get fry so soon.

Will just a container be fine or should I get a breeder net?

if you can float the container on top of the water, that will be fine temporarily, but i would get a net if i was you, in the meantime just filling the tub with water and pooring it out (no need to remove the fry while u do this) that way u are just basically keeping the water fresh from in your tank :)

That that's the plan I am floating the container in the tank using tank water. I just ordered This ? The price was right.

That is a very convenient external container that keeps the fry water fresh. It does require that you use an air pump to drive it.
