Hey Fish-keepers!

My girlfriend has just picked up a new pleco for her tank to help clean it (she realised within a day they are total poop factories aha) but the pet shop she bought it from just listed it as ā€˜plecoā€™ and the people working there didnt know anything about it either. I told her about common plecos reaching giant sizes and she freaked out. I think it is a common but need a second opinion as ive never owned plecos and if its not a potential giant sheā€™ll want to keep it. its about 3 inches long and hasnā€™t appeared to gain any size although shes only had it a month. Any input would be greatly appreciated!

Iā€™m not great at pleco identifying but part of me thinks sailfin could be wrong, as they come in many patterning and colours
