Hey Fish-keepers!

My girlfriend has just picked up a new pleco for her tank to help clean it (she realised within a day they are total poop factories aha) but the pet shop she bought it from just listed it as ‘pleco’ and the people working there didnt know anything about it either. I told her about common plecos reaching giant sizes and she freaked out. I think it is a common but need a second opinion as ive never owned plecos and if its not a potential giant she’ll want to keep it. its about 3 inches long and hasn’t appeared to gain any size although shes only had it a month. Any input would be greatly appreciated!

I’m not great at pleco identifying but part of me thinks sailfin could be wrong, as they come in many patterning and colours
