What Should I Do?

I've discovered that my LFS carries dyed fish. What should I do about it? Has anyone else persuaded an LFS to stop carrying dyed fish? I would like to write a letter to the owner, but I'm not sure who it is, or how to find out.

Erm, id ask one of the US mods who you could contact about it, or if theres anything you could do, im not sure if its illegal?

Its terrible. One thing you can do, is not to buy anything from them (especially the dyed fish) so that it doesnt contribute to the problem.

I have always followed a policy of not buying anything from any store that sells dyed fish. My normal policy when I discover a store sells them is to ask to speak to the person in charge. I let them know I feel it is wrong to sell dyed fish and that I will not patronize their store as long as they do.

The problem is these fish are sold to folks who don't know any better and they make money for the store, so I have yet to find a store that sells them stop doing so because a few serious fishkeepers express their displeasure. At least I feell better for habing done this.
