What Lighting ?

Hi,
just got a basic tank, its 600L and am looking at having it planted, what i'd like to know is whats a good light for this tank, its 56inches x 26 x 30, i have been doing my research and the T5 is looking good, but its looking really expensive, your help would be really great.

Twin 39w T5's or a custom LED rig. T8's may struggle to penetrate to the substrate.

Livewire88 sourced some tubes for just under £3 each and I reckon you could get a second hand starter and ballast for about £20-£25. Have a look on aquarist classifieds aswell.
