Hi,

I got the comet fry from my pond last summer and since then have been growing him up in a inside tank, initially a very small tank when really small ie size of a endler fry then switched it to a Juwel delta 80 110L corner tank, he's about 3 or 4 inches now, do think i could switch it to a ciano aqua 85, Aquarium dimensions: (LxWxH) 80 x 30 x 41.5cm Volume: 76 Litre

this would free up the delta 80 for my community tank of endlers and swords plus a pleccy bristlenose., which are currently housed in a ciano 60, think its a bit on the small side for the pleccy and also i plan to make that a betta tank.

The shift would only be temp approx 12 months until pond release next summer

Generally, the bigger, the better for them to grow and thrive.
Cool, seems quite happy in the 110 then i can switch him to pond next year , might still buy the bigger ciano and stick the endlers etc in it , would free up the 60 for a betta, so many plans lol :)

Waste of tank space imo. Throw it in the pond now and make a well scaped community tank.
