What Kind Of Catfish/algae Eater To Get?

I am looking for some advice regarding algae eaters/cat fish, i want a small one that wont grow too big . . .any suggestions?

Apple snails'll get the job done too! Cherry shrimp are also useful to have if you are after things that'll control your algae...

Ok this sounds silly but. . .my mum refuses to have snails or shrimp (or any other thing with legs) in the tank because they creep her out i was going to get some snails but she definitely wasnt happy :\

My Mum just got some shrimp to clean up her tank and cant stop watching them, they are funny little things. I think if your Mum could see some in a tank she might change her mind.

If only lol I tried this at the local aquarium she said they make her feel sick and shivery lol she's a little strange when it comes to things like that. . . she even struggles with gourami's haha
