As the title says, you fish is likely to be a Hillstream Loach by your description and picture.
I don't now much about this fish but think they grow to about 6cm and likes well aerated and flowing water.
Don't know if they are good on its own or if needs a shoal of 6+.
Also don't know what size of tank is best for these.
Would suggest to you to do a bit of research for yourself through internet. Suggest start with Seriously Fish and take it from there.
