Hi there,
Just wondering if you can shed some light on this............
I went into a fish shop about 2 weeks ago and one of their gold severums had grey markings on it. At the time I wondered if maybe this was due to his age or poor breeding.......yes i probably am ignorant....... Anyway the others were fine. Now that i have some they have all got these grey markings on them. What is it and how should i approach it? I didn't buy the one with the markings although i know that doesn't matter if it is some sort of bacteria or fungi...Any information would be as always, much appreciated. I could look it up but i figured this would be the quickest and best option.
Thanks. :X

by grey markings what do you mean? severums do have vertical stripes on them. if this is what you are referring to, could be that they were stressed out in the store and were not showing their true colors.

best to post a pic of what you are talking about in the member's tank section.
