What is eating my anubias?

Read yesterday that anubias are "potassium hungry". Made a note to myself...

Regarding Excel, isn't the purpose of the product to help create usable iron for plants? Why would it contain a disinfectant?

According to Seachem it's a substitute for CO2. It's a 2% solution of "polycycloglutaracetal", a trade name not something that actually exists. It's a form of glutaraldehyde, which can be used as an antiseptic.

It's Flourish Iron which provides iron for aquatic plants.
