Yea but i think its below 6.0 because its supposed to be yellow, but its almost clear with a yellow tint next to the card. I atleast want to make sure that its not below 6.0

I have crushed coral, should i just put a little of that in there?

Does this mean that theres not enough oxygen in my tank??

I've never had a tank as large as yours so maybe it's not the same but when ever i had a low ph problem live plants always did the trick.

well, i'm looking at it simply but plants use CO2 to thrive (which is why people put CO2 in their tanks)...CO2 lowers ph. plants also use some nutrients in the water that could lower ph as well. I'd throw some plants in there with an air stone. correct me if i'm wrong.

Also, trying to adjust your ph with ph adjusters is just counter-intuitive to me. You may temporarily adjust the ph but that wont affect the buffers that exist in the water. Plants just seem to be the most natural way of establishing equilibrium for FW tanks.

Okay thanks, as you know from pm'ing i am going to get some live plants.

Hopefully this will raise my ph a bit
