Out of curiosity - if we go away for say 2 weeks or so and our fish are unfed (not a problem for them, btw) what happens with the nitrogen cycle? Does the water degrade very slowly from the continuing metabolisms of the fish, or is the lack of fish wastes noticeable for those who test?
